Worcestershire Removals

Good to know

Questions, answered plainly

The things people most often want to know before booking a move — coverage, quotes, packing, storage and the run into Europe. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Moving around Worcestershire

Which parts of Worcestershire do you cover?

All of it. Worcester and Droitwich in the centre, Malvern under the hills, Redditch and Bromsgrove to the north-east, Kidderminster and Stourport in the Severn valley, and Evesham and Pershore down in the Vale — plus the villages and the county fringes towards Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Birmingham.

Do you handle removals in Worcester city centre?

Regularly. The city-centre lanes down towards the Shambles, the Georgian terraces of the Tything and the cathedral close all have their own parking and access quirks. We check them ahead of the day and plan the load-in so the move stays calm and unhurried.

Can you move a home in Malvern with steep, narrow lanes?

Yes — it’s one of the things we plan for most. The climbs above Great Malvern and the long garden approaches to the Victorian villas mean we look at access first, choose a van that suits the road, and carry the right protection rather than trying to force a large lorry up a lane that won’t take it.

Do you do removals in Redditch and Bromsgrove?

We do. Redditch’s ring roads and roundabouts and Bromsgrove’s steady commuter turnover are familiar ground. We know where the loading is straightforward and where it isn’t, which keeps moving day on schedule on the Birmingham edge of the county.

Do you cover Evesham, Pershore and the Vale?

Yes. The Vale of Evesham’s market-garden country, the riverside homes along the Avon and the Georgian streets of Pershore are all within our patch. Rural approaches and farm tracks are no obstacle — we just plan for them.

Services, packing and storage

What’s included in a home removal?

A survey before the day for anything but the smallest move, protection for your furniture and floors as standard, dismantling and reassembly of beds and wardrobes, and careful loading and setting-down at the new address. Packing, storage and unpacking can be added — you choose the level.

Do you offer man-and-van for smaller jobs?

We do. For a single room, a few larger items or a quick collection, a driver and a right-sized van is often the sensible choice. We’ll be honest about when a man-and-van fits and when a full removal would serve you better.

Can you provide storage in Worcestershire?

Yes — clean, dry, secure storage for a few boxes or a whole home. We take a full inventory as your things go in, and we can fold a move-and-store into one booking with one team, which is useful when the dates between homes don’t quite meet.

Do you supply packing materials?

We supply quality cartons, wrapping and protection, and we can pack the whole house, just the fragile items, or leave you to it with the right boxes to hand. Everything we pack is listed on a labelled inventory so nothing is mislaid.

Can you move an office or business?

Yes. We plan commercial moves around your trading hours — out of hours or at the weekend where it protects your business — handle IT, desks and equipment, offer crate hire, and can store surplus furniture and records. The aim is to keep any downtime to a minimum.

European and international moves

Do you move from Worcestershire to Europe?

We run household moves that depart from anywhere in the county to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Each is framed as a route pair — from your Worcestershire address to the new one abroad — and one team stays with the move from collection to delivery.

How does customs work after Brexit?

For personal belongings you’re bringing to a new home in the EU there’s a recognised process, and we prepare the paperwork — the inventory, the transit and customs documents — as part of the move. You won’t be left to work it out at a border; we handle that side and explain what you need to sign.

Can you take a part-load rather than a whole van?

Yes. If you’re not filling a lorry, a shared load — your goods consolidated with other moves heading the same way — is often the sensible option. A dedicated load runs to your own schedule. We’ll explain which suits what you’re moving.

Which UK cities can you collect from before heading abroad?

While we’re a Worcestershire firm at heart, the European routes we run also pick up from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester and Leeds on the way. If your move starts near one of those, it can join the same corridor.

Quotes, timing and booking

How do I get a quote?

Send us your details and a little about the move through the quote form, and we’ll reply by email with a clear, written, no-obligation quote. For larger homes we’ll arrange a survey first so the figure is grounded in what’s really there.

How quickly will you get back to me?

Promptly — usually within a working day or two of receiving your details. If your move is time-sensitive, say so in the notes and we’ll prioritise it.

When should I book?

As early as you comfortably can, especially around the busier end of the week and the end of the month, when good slots go first. That said, we’ll always try to help at shorter notice — just get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

Are my belongings covered?

Yes. Goods-in-transit and liability cover are part of how we work, and we’ll set out the terms in writing with your quote so you know exactly where you stand before anything is booked.

Is the quote really no-obligation?

Completely. The quote is there to help you decide. If the timing or the fit isn’t right, there’s no pressure and nothing owed — we’d rather you moved with us because it suited you.

Still have a question?

If we haven’t covered it here, tell us in the notes when you ask for a quote — or drop us a line. We’d rather answer honestly than leave you guessing.
